Jim presents an exceptionally dynamic Elvis Presley tribute show that packs the energy and power of the King of Rock and Roll. Jim was born in Jacksonville FL but a year later the Navy transferred Jim’s family to the Norfolk VA area where he was raised and still currently resides. At the age of 10, Elvis’ music came into his life. And he quickly found that Elvis’ music had no boundaries. Jim started imitating Elvis’ style of performing and the way he wore his hair. While performing with the musical ministry, as a drummer, Jim stepped forward to sing "Elvis" for a variety show and hasn’t stop performing since. Jim’s popularity continues to grow as he thrills crowds on the Eastern seaboard. Jim’s goal is to give people of all ages the opportunity to experience the music and the energy of Elvis.
Jim got his chance to be on the "world stage" in 2007, when he won the title of 'Grand Champion Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist’ for The Viva Elvis and The Legends of Rock and Roll Festival in Virginia Beach, Virginia, which played host to the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition preliminary round, and was sent to Memphis, TN, to perform. Jim has had the honor to sing The National Anthem at The Scope Arena in Norfolk and the Verizon Wireless/Va Beach Amphitheater. He has also worked with the legendary Stamps Quartet, the backing male group that worked with Elvis from 1971 until his death in 1977. He has headlined at the Viva Elvis and The Legends OF Rock and Roll Festival and The Sandstock Festival in Va Beach, VA, also at the Gas and Steam Engine Festival in Surry VA. Jim’s attention to detail in his mannerisms, voice and stage presence is truly a respectful Tribute to the King of Rock and Roll.
